At the End of Your Fork is a dance piece about the relation between food and morality, a piece that deals with the symbolic of food rather than its nutritional role. The performance is compounded of three equally important elements: the choreography, a series of ballads performed live and a dinner that is served to the audience.
The dance, the songs and the unequal distribution of the food among the audience contextualise in different manners the single courses served (traditional-, gourmet-, insect based-, vegetarian-, junk- food), showing that there are too many different and contradictory perspectives which undermines the possibility of an indisputable ethical position.
At the End of Your Fork was performed at Lysverket (Bergen) during Oktoberdans 2014.
